Two staff members under investigation by police, Mayra Moreno reports.

MISSOURI CITY, TX (KTRK) -- Two Ridge Point High school staff members have been placed on leave after allegations of inappropriate conduct.



In a letter addressed to parents, Principal Tammy Edwards discussed the allegations and encouraged any student with information to contact authorities.



No other details have been released by Fort Bend ISD.

Dear RPHS parents and guardians,

In an effort to keep you informed, I want to let you know that we have been made aware of alleged inappropriate conduct by a Ridge Point High School staff member. Please know that we take all allegations seriously, and our focus is on the well-being of our students.

This is an active police investigation, and we want you to know that the staff member is on leave and not on campus.

If you or your student has information related to this investigation, please contact the FBISD Crime Stoppers at (281)491-8477. Parents and students may also send an anonymous tip through text messaging by typing GETPAID, followed by their message, and sending to 274637 (CRIMES).

A safe learning environment is the number one priority of RPHS and Fort Bend ISD, and we appreciate your continued support.
