Worker rescued from trench at plant in north Harris County

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Emergency crews brought a man to safety from the bottom of a trench at a water treatment plant in north Harris County.

Ladders were lowered into the trench and the man appeared to be be conscious and alert.

There's no word on his condition.
