Raccoon survives fall from several stories up in Michigan

KALAMAZOO, MI (KTRK) -- A raccoon wasn't rescued off a tall building. It fell off!

The fire department in Kalamazoo, Michigan, used a ladder truck to try to rescue the raccoon yesterday, but before they could do that, it fell several stories to the ground.

The animal survived and was taken to a rehabilitation center.

It is expected to be OK.
