Controversial Facebook post
Some female election volunteers claim a county commissioner's deleted facebook post was sexist

Noack isn't running for office, but he is publicly supporting Mark Bosma for County Judge and Rob Harmon for Precinct 2 Commissioner. The volunteers, who are young women attending college, are working for their opponents, Precinct 2 Commissioner Craig Doyal and Charlie Riley.

"So sexist and immature, really," said one of those volunteers, Emily McKinney. "It's offensive because we're out here spending our time with something that we actually care about."

"I would be offended if I worked at the establishment he referred to because they're working to possibly put themselves through school and support their family just like we are," said Samantha Humphrey, another volunteer.

Commissioner Noack is out of town, but he did give Eyewitness news a statement over the phone.

"It was a bone-headed move," said Noack. "It certainly something that I should have put more forethought in and I usually don't make mistakes like that."

Election day is Tuesday. Noack's staff tells Eyewitness news Noack will be out of town until then.
