Your Friday Faves: Houston's Top 10 Pawn Shops

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- We asked ABC-13 viewers for their favorite pawn shops around town, and here are the Top 10!

Cash America
Cash America was the overwhelming favorite among viewers, perhaps because there are so many locations around town. They also have a 30 day satisfaction pledge where you can get your money back if you're unhappy with your purchase. If it's within 7 days, they'll give you cash, otherwise you can get store credit.

EZ Pawn
There are over 400 EZ Pawn locations nationwide, including dozens in the greater Houston area. This week, they are offering 20 percent of all laptops too! One viewer recommends the location on Telephone close to 610, because of the staff. The viewer said they work with you and don't try to get one over on you. Other viewers mentioned the great bargains they found on jewelry at other locations.

Wright Pawn
The Wright Pawn and Jewelry Company on is an A+ rated business with the Better Business Bureau. A viewer says it's a good place with high quality merchandise, with fair and very honest staff members. They sell fine jewelry, electronics, antiques, designer handbags, and more. The family-owned business is located on Westheimer near the Galleria.

Circle Pawn
Circle Pawn has been in the Houston area since 1966, and now they have nine locations. They also sell much of their merchandise through eBay auctions, so you don't have to leave the house to see their selection. If you do stop by, several viewers said the staff are always very friendly and very helpful.

Bayou Pawn
Bayou Pawn has been family owned and operated for 15 years. There are six Bayou Pawn locations in Houston. One viewer told us that they were able to sell nearly every item from a storage unit, even pots and pans.

Valu Plus Pawn
Valu Plus Pawn operates stores all over Texas, including 10 in Houston. They're a relatively new company whose goal is to have not the most, but the best pawn shops around town.

Cash Cow Pawn Shop
Cash Cow has three locations, but our viewers recommended the Deer Park location. Go online now to print a coupon for 20 percent off any used items $100 or more, or 10 percent off any new items of $100 or more.

Tomball Pawn
Tomball Pawn is a family owned business, and it's a little different than most pawn shops. They sell a lot of used merchandise, but you will find new products as well. Their inventory ranges from saddles, electronics, new car audio, jewelry, tools and a wide variety of sporting goods, and firearms.

Pawn One
There are a few Pawn One locations in the greater Houston area. An ABC-13 viewer says they buy anything, and they sell great products.

105 Pawn
105 Pawn is off Highway 105 in Montgomery. An ABC-13 viewer says the owner and all of the workers are extremely nice and helpful.
