On an all-new episode of This Week in Texas, we feature a one-on-one interview with Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz.

"I've had multiple briefings with the Secretary of Transportation, with the FAA, and with the National Transportation Safety Board," Cruz said as the chair of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation.

He discusses airline safety and trade under the new Trump administration.

"I think getting Canada and Mexico to assist and actively participate is good for Texas and good for America," Cruz said.
