PEARLAND, Texas (KTRK) -- A Walmart in Pearland was evacuated on Tuesday after police said they received a report of a bomb inside the store.

The Pearland Police Department said officers received the call about the bomb threat at about 10 a.m. at the Walmart Supercenter on 1919 North Main Street.

Authorities said the building was searched for explosives with assistance from bomb K9s. Officials later gave an update on Monday afternoon, stating there were no explosives found.

The store was initially evacuated but later reopened after the scene was cleared, police said.
