SPRING, TX -- A Montgomery County grand jury indicted a 31-year-old Spring man earlier this week on six counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child stemming from an accusation that he forced oral sex on a 7-year-old girl in May.
Christopher Michael Richards is accused of sexually assaulting a child under the age of 14, which is a first-degree felony that carries a punishment range of five to 99 years in prison, if convicted.
The child met with a forensic interviewer at Children's Safe Harbor in Conroe June 2, when she said her mother's boyfriend Chris "keeps doing things to me that he is not supposed to and he might go to jail or not," according to the arrest warrant affidavit.
