HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- In this segment of Viva Houston, Aabha Brown, a professor at the Graduate College of Social Work at the University of Houston, explains how low-income communities were particularly hit hard by Hurricane Harvey.

Brown also discusses victims going through the loss of loved ones, homes, jobs and managing the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder.
