HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A smoking hole in the roof of an apartment complex was the aftermath of a fire reported in the Copperfield area, SkyEye13 images showed.

Officials with the Cy-Fair Fire Department told drivers to expect emergency vehicle traffic after the fire was reported at a complex near FM 529 and Spencer Road on Tuesday afternoon.

A video captured from the ground showed the fire ripping through the building's roof as crews fought the flames.

Cy-Fair FD officials said no one was hurt in the accident, but that some pets had to be rescued. They added that the entire building was affected by the fire and that residents of at least 12 units were displaced.

Officials said the Harris County Fire Marshal's Office was at the scene investigating the cause of the fire.
