Search for Katy woman missing in the Caribbean called off

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The Coast Guard in Curacao says it's searched in the water and by air but there's still no sign of Amanda Waller.

Friends say Waller was with a group from the Houston area visiting the island on vacation. She was last seen swimming back to the beach during a snorkeling trip Thursday.

But no one ever saw her come ashore.
