Police investigating whether woman was pushed after fatal fall from west Houston apartment balcony

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Investigators are trying to determine the identity of a woman whose body was found at a west Houston apartment complex, police said.

Authorities told ABC13 the woman fell off a third-story balcony at the complex on Woodland Park Drive, but they don't know if she was pushed or not.

Houston police said they first received a call about an assault at that location at about 8:15 p.m. Officers said the person who called 911 said they found a woman lying on the ground.

The woman, who police say was in her 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers said no one has been arrested.
