Overturned truck hauling dirt prompts closure of SB lanes of E. Sam Houston Tollway, officials say
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A semi-truck hauling dirt overturned, forcing the closure of the southbound lanes of the East Sam Houston Tollway on Thursday afternoon, according to the Harris County Precinct 8 Constable's Office.
In a Facebook post, authorities shared an image of the overturned truck on East Sam Houston Tollway after Genoa-Red Bluff Road.
Law enforcement are urging drivers to expect delays and consider alternate routes.
It's unclear at this time what may have led to the crash or whether there were any injuries.
