New mural greeting fans ahead of FIFA World Cup

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- With bold colors and a vibrant spirit, a new mural in Houston greets international visitors and locals as the city gears up for FIFA events this summer.

The 160-foot-long artpiece, crafted by visionary artist José "Meenr" Arredondo, showcases larger-than-life portraits of four iconic soccer stars. In the video above, Meenr reveals his imaginative, creative process and the collaboration with The Original Ninfa's on Navigation.

The mural is located at 2727 Canal Street in the Second Ward.
