Mom shoots, kills her 2 young children before turning gun on self at hotel in SW Houston, HFD says

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A woman shot and killed her two young children in a southwest Houston hotel on Friday before turning the gun on herself, first responders said.

According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded to a Marriott Residence Inn located on Kirby Drive near Old Spanish Trail, not far from NRG Stadium, for a call about a reported shooting.

Officials from the Houston Fire Department told ABC13 that a mother shot and killed her two children, who were both under the age of nine. The woman then shot and killed herself, according to authorities.

Officials did not reveal the identity of the woman.
