Man killed, 2 others shot during fight in Midtown parking lot, police say

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The Houston Police Department says three men were shot during a fight in a Midtown parking lot early Monday morning.

According to HPD, the shooting happened at around 2:10 a.m. in a parking lot on Milam Street near Anita Street.

Police say there were officers working an extra job at a club when they heard several gunshots coming from the parking lot across the street.

HPD says it seems there was some kind of fight between a few guys, when at least one of them started shooting.

In total, police say three men were shot.

One of them died, and another is critical, according to HPD.

They say the third person was shot in the arm.

HPD says officers have detained two possible suspects.
