HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- One man is hospitalized after he was shot in the hand while driving Sunday night in north Harris County, according to the sheriff's office.
Authorities responded to Aldine Mail Route Road and Sellers Road, where the man said he had been shot nearby and stopped in the area for help, said Captain Sandi Chapa with Harris County Sheriff's Office Patrol District 2.
She wrote on X, formerly Twitter, at about 9 p.m. that first responders transported the man to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators searched the area for shell casings. ABC13's crew overnight captured video of the shattered back passenger window.
It wasn't immediately known what led to the shooting.
