HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- Authorities in north Harris County are investigating the death of a man who they said was gunned down outside of a home Monday night.
According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, deputies with Precinct 4 responded to an in-progress call at about 11 p.m. Authorities said the caller stated hearing multiple gunshots and saw a man with multiple wounds.
Precinct 4 said medical attention was provided by the man, who was only described as a Hispanic man in his 20s, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities did not immediately provide any information on suspects but said they were told by witnesses that there were three possible suspects, possibly in their late teens or early 20s.
"We are currently canvassing the area for video and locating possible witnesses. We do ask the community if they have information, in regards to this incident, to reach out to us," the sheriff's office said.
Witnesses also told authorities the victim is not a resident in the area and that he was there visiting someone.
