HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A man will spend life in prison after he was found guilty of murder in the shooting death of a 46-year-old attorney, according to records.
On Thursday, a jury handed Anthon Landry his sentence, a day after jurors found him guilty.
The case happened in 2024. Prosecutors said the victim, 46-year-old Jeffrey Limmer, was trying to break up an argument between Landry and employees at the McDonald's along the Katy Freeway near Chimney Rock.

Police said the fight started over a botched order, and Landry became upset and demanded a refund. When the fight escalated to the outside, authorities said Landry went to his car, grabbed a gun, and fired it multiple times, killing Limmer.
Authorities said that a week after the shooting, Landry turned himself in.
