Man shot to death during argument with roommates in NW Harris County, HCSO says

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- An argument between roommates escalated into a deadly shooting in northwest Harris County on Tuesday night, according to authorities.

Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff's Office were called to an in-progress call at an apartment complex in the 7700 block of W. Little York. When authorities arrived, they reported finding a 26-year-old man unresponsive from gunshot wounds.

Deputies said they tried performing life-saving measures until EMS arrived, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities said they learned that the victim lives on the property and got into a fight with two of his roommates, which then led to him being shot.

HCSO said the roommates were detained at the scene and are being cooperative in the investigation.
