Man charged after allegedly committing multiple indecent assaults against women, Pasadena PD says

PASADENA, Texas (KTRK) -- A man is behind bars after allegedly assaulting multiple women in a string of incidents, according to the Pasadena Police Department.

Jalen Richard Harrison, 25, was charged with two counts of indecent assault on Wednesday, police said. According to authorities, his arrest came on Tuesday after the alleged incidents happened on Monday.

Investigators said Harrison allegedly approached a woman who was shopping at a DD's Discounts store on Southmore Avenue and grabbed her from behind without her consent. After that incident, detectives said Harrison visited Wok Delight, a nearby restaurant, and committed a similar act of assault against a female employee.

Pasadena PD said that an incident against a third victim on Tuesday is what led to Harrison's arrest. It was after his arrest for that alleged assault that investigators identified him as the suspect in the two incidents on Southmore Avenue.

Investigators said Harrison is being held at the Harris County Joint Processing Center.
