PEARLAND, Texas (KTRK) -- Police said they have arrested a man for allegedly exposing himself multiple times in Pearland.
According to the Pearland Police Department, officers arrested Damond Linsey and charged him with felony indecent exposure on Thursday.
According to a statement from Pearland police, officers responded to a call on Jan. 2 about an indecent exposure incident in a parking lot at 11037 Shadow Creek Parkway. Officers said they met with the victim, who reported that she was sitting in her car when an SUV backed into the parking space next to her.
The police department said a man then exited the SUV, stood next to the victim's car, and exposed himself.
Police said the victim was able to provide officers with a description of the suspect, along with the license plate number of his vehicle. The victim later provided dash camera footage of the incident, clearly showing the suspect and his vehicle, according to police.
The police statement also said that on Jan. 6, the Brazoria County Sheriff's Office reached out to Pearland police regarding several other indecent exposure cases in the area.
Investigators determined the same SUV and license plate were involved in these incidents, according to Pearland police. Police said the suspect was then identified as Linsey, who was already a registered sex offender.
After reviewing evidence, the Brazoria County District Attorney's Office accepted charges, according to police. On Jan. 8, Linsey was arrested and charged with felony indecent exposure with two prior convictions, Pearland police said.
The case remains under investigation, according to officials.
Authorities said anyone who believes they may have been a victim or has additional information is encouraged to contact the Pearland Police Department Criminal Investigations Tip Line at 281-997-4211.
