
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Houston police said they need the public's assistance in identifying a suspect accused of robbing a general store at gunpoint in southwest Houston.
According to the Houston Police Department, the robbery happened on Nov. 25 at a general store located in the 4700 block of West Fuqua Street.
Police said an unknown man entered the store at about 10:50 a.m. before approaching an employee while holding a handgun. The suspect then demanded the money from the cash register, to which the employee complied, authorities said.
Once he had the money, the suspect then fled the store on foot, according to police.
HPD's Robbery Division released surveillance video from the general store, asking the public for help in identifying the suspect.
