

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A man found shot to death near the East Freeway has led to a homicide investigation on Monday morning, Houston police said.
The Houston Police Department said officers responded to a person-down call at about 8:40 a.m. after a man was found with gunshot wounds in the 2700 block of East Freeway near Jensen Drive.
Officials said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not released the victim's identity at this time.
SkyEye13 was over the scene at about 11:10 a.m., capturing images of law enforcement investigating the aftermath of the incident.
