Pct. 4 urge people to avoid Champion Forest area as crews work to repair gas leak

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- The Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office is urging people to avoid the area along Cypresswood and Champion Forest Drive as crews work to repair a gas leak.

Wednesday afternoon, Pct. 4 shared that deputies were helping the Klein Fire Department with the leak in the area, and all northbound lanes of Champion Fore Drive would be blocked as crews worked.

In addition, authorities said AT&T crews advised that it would take about four hours for the work to be done, and urged drivers to avoid that route.

No additional details were released about the gas leak.
