Frontage lanes reopen on I-10 at Garth after accident involving Cheetos truck: Houston TranStar

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- The frontage road of the East Freeway near Garth Road has reopened follwoing an incident involving a Cheetos 18-wheeler on Tuesday afternoon.

Houston TranStar cameras showed crews working to move an 18-wheeler displaying Cheetos branding from the area between the East Freeway and the frontage road, blocking traffic on the latter.

According to Houston TranStar's website, the incident is labeled a "Heavy Truck/Accident," causing the closure of two frontage road lanes.

The lanes reopened at 5:08 p.m., according to Houston TranStar.

It is unknown what led to the incident involving the Cheetos 18-wheeler.
