East Freeway reopens at Dell Dale after 2 crash scenes along westbound lanes

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- All westbound lanes of the East Freeway at Dell Dale reopened after crews cleared two different crash scenes, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

Both crashes appeared to have taken place along the westbound lanes of the highway. Details are still limited, but authorities confirmed one of the crashes, involving a single vehicle, was a fatality.

The second crash involved three vehicles, but it's still unclear what led to that incident.
