Driver found dead in vehicle near east Harris County intersection, HCSO says

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- An investigation is underway after a driver was found dead in a vehicle with possible gunshot wounds on Tuesday, the Harris County Sheriff's Office announced.

According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, deputies responded to a call for service at the intersection of Patch and Waldine Street.

Deputies said the driver, who has only been identified as a man, was confirmed dead at the scene.
