HCSO says deputies responding to 2 high-water rescue calls as storms move through Houston area

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- With storms impacting the Houston area Thursday evening, Harris County deputies are responding to two high-water rescue calls, according to the sheriff's office.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez shared that one of the calls is in southwest Harris County at Corta Calle Drive and Bellaire, where a vehicle, which appears to be occupied, is stalled in high water, and it is rising.

A second call was reported at Mar Vista and Camino del Sol, but no additional information was shared on that.
