Child killed in crash on FM 2920 in northwest Harris County, sheriff's office says

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A child was killed in a crash on FM 2920 on Saturday afternoon in northwest Harris County, investigators say.

According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, the crash happened in the 26,000 block of FM 2920 near Hegar Road in the Hockley area.

Authorities said that a juvenile was killed in the crash, with no one else hospitalized or killed in the crash. Officials did not say the age of the child.

Investigators have not released what led to the crash or the identities of those involved.
