

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A woman whose body was found partially burned last month has been identified, the Houston Police Department said.
On Monday, HPD identified the victim as 33-year-old Yvonne Lopez, who was found dead on the morning of July 29 along the Gulf Freeway.

According to the department, the body had been partially burned.

Police said the victim's cause of death is unknown and is pending autopsy results.
There is also no known suspect or motive, but an investigation is ongoing.
