13 Alert Traffic: Rollover crash blocking SH 225 westbound before Independence Parkway: TranStar

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A crash along Highway 225 in the Deer Park area is causing major backups for drivers on Wednesday morning.

Houston TranStar reported the heavy truck crash on SH-225 westbound before Independence Parkway at about 6:16 a.m., issuing a complete roadway closure alert.

SkyEye13 flew over a car that was upside down at the scene and an 18-wheeler that appears to have been involved.

Several emergency vehicles can be seen responding to the scene, though authorities have not said if anyone was injured.

The cause of the crash is unknown.
