13 Alert Traffic: Car carrier trailer fire blocking 2 lanes on Eastex Freeway southbound at Lee Road
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The aftermath of a car carrier trailer fire is slowing down drivers along the Eastex Freeway on Friday morning.
SkyEye13 video captured crews working to clear the incident, which is blocking two lanes of I-69 southbound near Lee Road.
In the video, the truck cab and a pickup truck above it appear to be heavily burned as well as several other vehicles right behind the cab.
Houston TranStar reported the vehicle fire just before 6 a.m.
It's unclear what may have led the truck to ignite or whether any injuries were reported.
