13 Alert Traffic: 18-wheeler wreck shuts down all WB lanes of North Loop at McCarty, TranStar shows

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A rollover big rig crash is causing heavy delays for Friday morning commuters on the North Loop.

Houston TranStar reported the wreck just before midnight on the I-610 North Loop westbound lanes at McCarty Street/US-90 Alternate, though the Houston Police Department says it was called out at about 2:30 a.m.

ABC13 crews captured the overturned truck as crews worked to lift it off the median.

It's unclear if anyone was injured. According to TranStar, only the truck was involved in the crash.

Drivers can use the Eastex Freeway as an alternate route.
