1 detained after 3-vehicle crash involving METRO bus in north Houston, HPD says

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- One person has been detained after a three-vehicle crash involving a METRO bus in north Houston on Friday, according to the Houston Police Department.

According to METRO, a METRO bus heading eastbound near Tidwell Road and Fulton Street was involved in a traffic incident after another vehicle made contact with the left side of the bus while attempting to pass.

HPD says that the three vehicles involved in the accident included a white SUV, a black SUV, and a METRO bus.

Police say that someone was trying to flee the scene.

METRO police led the investigation, according to HPD.

METRO says that no injuries were reported.
