Pope sends special message to Houston girl standing in crowd in Mexico

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- We've got an incredible update to one Houston family's quest to see Pope Francis during his trip to Mexico.

Eight-year-old Isabella's dream was to be blessed by the pope. Well, her family decided to follow that dream.

During his drive through the streets Monday, Pope Francis clearly locked eyes with Isabella and gave her the sign of the cross. A man standing behind her just happened to catch it all on camera.

Isabella has dreams of building an orphanage becoming a nun. She convinced her parents to take her to Mexico for the pope's visit. This moment had to surpass all of their expectations.
