A tribute to the wheelchair goat the world fell in love with

Last month, the world fell in love with Frostie the Snow Goat, a tiny animal with a giant heart.

Frostie was born with an infection in his hind legs that made walking seem impossible. Frostie found his way to Edgar's Mission, a farm sanctuary in Australia, and they fitted him with a wheelchair.

With his cheery disposition and goat-ed determination, Frostie became an international superstar, and he loved the attention.

Last week, Frostie taught us all the power of hope and perseverance when he took his first steps without any help.

Sadly, Frostie's inspiring journey was also a short one. The farm announced Tuesday that Frostie died at the young age of two months.

In a heartfelt reflection on her blog, the founder and director of Edgar's Mission, Pam Ahern, said, "Frostie's lesson to me has been this, to seize every minute of your life as the most precious gift there is, use it wisely and lovingly for you never know if it is your last."
