Man offers to trade truck for dogs' safe return
It's been over a year since his two dogs went missing, but one pet owner isn't giving up hope.

TOMBALL, Texas (KTRK) -- It's been over a year since his two dogs went missing, but one pet owner isn't giving up hope.

In an effort to get them home, Weston Eddins is offering his most-prized possession to anyone who can bring them back safely.

Eddins has spent the last decade pampering his beloved truck, but after more than a year of heartache, he's willing to give his road buddy up for free. It's a 1979 Scout.

The dogs' names are Scout and Woody. Back in May of last year, the two miniature pinschers got out of the fence at his old house in Tomball and haven't been seen since. It's been an exhausting search for Eddins, passing out cards and even creating a Facebook page asking for help. It's his post about a free truck that has gotten the most attention.

Still after chasing dozens of leads, his boys are still missing and it hurts.

Eddins will give almost anything in fact his beloved truck free of charge in exchange for Scout and Woody's safe return.

The dog owner says the truck is not for sale. He will only give* it away in exchange for his dogs. He's also offering a cash reward.
