HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man riding his bike was struck this morning by a pickup truck in southeast Houston.
Emergency crews rushed to the man's aid as he lay on the street at Old Spanish Trail at Highway 288.
SkyEye was over the scene this morning, and could see EMS tending to the patient.
The bicyclist appeared to be moving, but emergency crews took their time to get him inside the ambulance to prevent any further injury.
We are not certain of what injuries the man suffered in the accident.
A white Ford pickup truck stopped nearby appeared to have some damage to the front driver's side fender and headlight.
We're still trying to find out what happened before the accident. It is not known if the driver will face any charges.
