Five fun facts about Pasadena

PASADENA, Texas (KTRK) -- Pasadena is a spirited community, full of friendly residents and a unique history.

The town started with farming, boomed with petrochemical plants, and was put on the big screen as "Urban Cowboy."

You can't ride the mechanical bull anymore at Gilley's, but you can still taste a strawberry like the ones that helped build the community that now boasts more than 150,000 people.
