SPRING, Texas (KTRK) -- A woman has been arrested and charged in connection with her two-year-old daughter's beating days after her boyfriend was charged with the same crime, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies say Jazmin Cisneros, 28, and Gerardo Gonzalez, 29, showed up at a Spring gas station Thursday night seeking help for the girl, who was unresponsive.

Prosecutors say Gonzalez admitted to punching the girl in the head and all over her body as well as stomping on her.
He was arrested and charged with injury to a child Friday.
Cisneros was arrested Tuesday and now faces the same charge.
Prosecutors say Cisneros knew about prior abuse and failed to report it because she didn't want Gonzalez to go to jail.
It hasn't been alleged that Cisneros took part in any of the abuse.
Her bail was set at $500,000 during a probable cause hearing Tuesday evening.
Her daughter remains in the hospital in critical condition.
