Wrecker driver dies after being pinned by car being towed in Baytown

BAYTOWN, TX (KTRK) -- A wrecker driver was killed in a tragic accident in Baytown Thursday.

It happened just after 10am. Police say the 24-year-old driver had just towed a vehicle from a home when he noticed a problems with the connection.

He got out and while on the ground looking at the hook-up, the vehicle moved forward and pinned him underneath. He died at the scene.

His identity has not been released.
