HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Jonathan Palmares got his time in court, and the first day brought disturbing evidence.
Palamres was fired as an HISD school bus driver after a child on his bus route complained he'd sexually abused her. Prosecutors say they have concrete proof: video from the camera inside the bus.
In the clip, played today in court, you see Palmares getting questionably close, seemingly trying to kiss a little girl. At this point, you can see one of the students appearing to fight back -- swinging something at the bus driver.
It doesn't stop there. The video next shows Palmares getting closer to another student, seemingly trying to kiss her, until she backs away.
Palmares is accused of sexually abusing a first- and second-grader on his route, which included Red, Kolter and Gross elementary schools.
One of the students made an outcry to her parents, and now Palmares is facing a judge for these alleged inappropriate acts. His trial continues on Thursday.
