HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Two Harris County Sheriff's Office deputies have been fired following an internal investigation. According to the department, they had sexual contact while on duty.
It reportedly happened on December 27 when Deputy T. Sanchez and Deputy G. Villareal were working DWI enforcement.
Deputy Sanchez is a field training officer who joined the department in 2013. Deputy Villarreal has been with the department since 2015. She's a probationary deputy.
Sexual contact is a violation of policy, as is a relationship between a supervisor and subordinate.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office released the following statement on Monday.
