Tractor, trailer and truck stolen from Cleveland wastewater treatment plant

A John Deere tractor owned by the City of Cleveland was stolen from the new municipal park during the New Year's holiday.

CLEVELAND, TX -- Cleveland Police Department is asking for the public's help in recovering equipment that was reported missing on Thursday, Jan. 1, from the City of Cleveland's East Wastewater Treatment Plant at 26508 SH 321 and the adjacent city park.

According to a statement from the police department, the thieves first took a city-owned Ford F-150 pickup truck that was then used to tow a city-owned trailer over to the adjacent municipal park where a tractor was then taken.

Several power tools and a Generac generator were also stolen by the unknown persons.
