Suspect taken to hospital after officer-involved shooting in NE Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston police say a suspect was taken to the hospital after an officer-involved shooting on the 9600 block of N. Wayside Drive.

The unidentified male suspect crashed his car into a fence after being shot. He is currently in stable condition.

Investigators say that a representative from the district attorney's office is on the way to the scene of the crime, which spans two separate locations in a residential neighborhood.
