HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man wanted for robbing a southwest Harris County Subway was arrested Tuesday and charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and evading arrest.

Investigators say Altreanza Dotson, 35, went into the Subway restaurant at 13151 Bissonnet on June 29 and asked for a job application. According to court documents, when the employee went to the register, Dotson pulled out a pistol and demanded money. The employee complied and Dotson was reportedly caught on surveillance video running from the restaurant.

A Crime Stoppers tip the following week led investigators to Dotson. Houston police spotted Dotson's vehicle Tuesday on Bissonnet at Kirkwood and initiated a traffic stop. He pulled into a nearby strip center but fled once the officer approached the vehicle. The pursuit ended in to the 9400 block of Coventry Square where Dotson fled on foot and was quickly apprehended.

He is being held in the Harris County Jail on $60,000 bonds and is expected to appear in court Friday. Dotson has a lengthy criminal record, including convictions for aggravated robbery, theft and assault.
