Shooter on the run after murder in northeast Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A man was shot in one place and died in another in northeast Houston last night. Police say the killer responsible is still on the run.

Someone shot at a group of men inside a truck in the 3800 block of Little York around 9pm.

The men drove a short distance away, but stopped their truck in the 10500 block of Foy at Langley.

When paramedics arrived, one man was dead inside the truck and another man was critically injured, shot in the back.

Investigators believe a third man was inside the truck with both victims, but he disappeared before officers arrived.

Now police want to find him and the person responsible for shooting at the truck.
