Cows on the run make MOOves to escape slaughter
A group of rogue cows broke out of a Missouri slaughterhouse on Thursday.

ST. LOUIS, Missouri (KTRK) -- Animal control officials were sent into a frenzy on Thursday after six cows escaped from a slaughterhouse.

Around 1 p.m., the cattle were reported missing from the Star Packing Company on the 3800 block of Cote Brilliante Avenue.

The rogue bovines were eventually located in three different locations, and authorities moved in with their tranquilizer guns at the ready.

Two of the cows ended up at the Little Sisters of the Poor facility, while the other animals made their way to nearby intersections.

A cattle trailer could be seen being backed into a fenced area where several cows had been backed into a corner and were left looking dazed and confused.
