Diaz disappeared from the Dane's Country Store where she worked in the small community of Danevang. It was November 24, 1990. Her family said they'd always hoped one day they might find her alive.

However, her sister said today that they can now grieve. She added they are looking for justice in the case.

At the time of the body's discovery, investigators said information was brought to them by family of a man who died of cancer this summer, which led them to a remote location near the Wharton-Matagorda county line, just a few miles from the store.
